Caritas grocery shops
Caritas grocery shops enable people with small budgets to buy essential food items (fruit and vegetables, sugar, flour, oil, pasta, orange juice, etc.) and hygiene and day-to-day care products (cleaning, laundry, personal care products, etc.) at reduced prices.
Eligibility requirements :
Any person, with or without children, who has a personal accreditation card issued and certified by a public or private social welfare service. This card certifies that the holder is on a low income. It must be shown by the user every time they visit.

La FARCE
The La FARCE association is a free grocery shop in the Canton of Geneva for HES-GE and UNIGE students in financial difficulty. It offers them free allocations of groceries and doesn’t ask to see any proof of their financial situation.
Eligibility requirements :
Students, members of the association.
The only requirement is an annual membership fee of CHF 20. Once they have joined, students can start coming from the following week to pick up food.

Food parcels are for households in financial difficulty.

- Canned and dried foods
- Toiletries and cleaning products
Eligibility requirements :
Assistance is given on a one-off basis only after your financial situation has been assessed by the social work team. There is a token charge of CHF 1.
