Community Care Mobile Clinic Consultation (CAMSCO)

CAMSCO provides access to preventive and curative care and rehabilitation in Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) for the target population groups, and contributes to public health interventions.

Eligibility requirements :
available to anyone in a precarious situation, whether Swiss or foreign. In particular, people using day and night reception centres within the vulnerable persons’ support network in Geneva, homeless persons, those without health insurance or legal status.

Semi-urgent consultations with doctors and nurses take place at the clinic, by appointment, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:40 am to 12:00 noon and on Wednesdays from 2:30 pm to 4:40 pm.

Sexual Health and Family Planning Unit (USSPF)

This unit deals with sexual health issues (sexuality, sexual orientation, relationship difficulties, pregnancy, termination of pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, etc.) and offers support in the event of difficulties in accessing contraception. It also offers support for unplanned pregnancies.

Consultations, which are by appointment, are free of charge and confidential. They can be provided in several languages (Spanish, English, Portuguese) with an interpreter present if needed.

Anyone regardless of sex, age, culture, religion and sexual orientation.

Unité interdisciplinaire de médecine et prévention de la violence (UIMPV)

The UIMPV provides assistance in complete confidence when directly asked to do so by people facing violence: domestic, street, workplace or institutional violence. It also deals with cases of trafficking, discrimination, persecution, etc.

Available to :
Anyone aged 16 or over who is facing a situation of present or past deliberate violence, regardless of their role, the nature of the violence, the context, the location, or their status or language (an interpreter service is available).

Le Point d’Eau

Le Point d’Eau (Carrefour-Rue) enables people in social difficulty to look after their health (dentist, chiropodist), personal hygiene (showering, shaving, hair) and clothes (changing room, laundry room with washing powder available).

No criteria. For information and appointments, just walk in.

Groupe santé Genève

Groupe santé Genève offers HIV and STI prevention advice, testing and medical or mental health consultations for people in a vulnerable and/or insecure situation. If a person has difficulty in accessing care, the social security-legal service can advise them.

Available to :
Anyone who finds it difficult to access healthcare or prefers to seek help from a community organisation.

La Main Tendu

Telephone, Internet and chat assistance service. La Main Tendue is available 24 hours a day to talk to people who need help and support. A chat can help people by preventing long-term difficulties, lifting them out of isolation, enabling them to find personal resources or signposting them to specialist services.
